CYPRUS LAWN
A cotton cloth, finished to handle firm and crisp and always dyed black. So-called from Cyprus where it was first manufactured. Used for mourning. Made about 80 ends and 76 picks per inch, 60's T., 80's W., Egyptian yarns.
